is conveniently located in downtown Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, across from City Hall. There is ample and easily accessible off street parking and the office is handicapped accessible. It includes a complete eye health care facility, and an optical with over 800 frames. Prescription lenses of the finest quality, contact lenses of all types, solutions, vitamins, low vision devices, optical accessories, vision training software, can all be found right in Mt. Pleasant.

Our Doctor…

Born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Dr. Christopher Olson grew up in the nearby village of Swedesburg. His appreciation for the community and the importance of family brought Dr. Olson and his wife, Lisa, back to Iowa after he received his doctorate. They established a private practice in Mt. Pleasant, and started a family. They have been blessed with two daughters, Nicole and Ashley.

Dr. Olson is the Optometrist and owner of Complete EyeCare Center. His motivation is to serve his patients with excellence and kindness. He dramatically renovated a downtown Mt. Pleasant building, utilizing the expertise of an architect, to create a professional facility. He has equipped it with advanced ophthalmic instrumentation. To keep abreast of new research, technologies, and clinical skills, Dr. Olson is continually pursuing professional education, for your benefit, and encourages his co-workers to do the same. The result is a primary eye health care practice of a caliber that is typically only found in metropolitan areas, combined with small town personal attention.

(Did you know Dr. Olson is Chair of the State of Iowa’s Board of Optometry, which is responsible for ensuring the integrity of all optometrists in the state, and serves to protect public health, welfare and safety? He was first appointed to this government agency by Governor Tom Vilsack. )

…is easy to find and off-street parking is available. Complete EyeCare Center is located just one block west of Mt. Pleasant’s town square, on the corner of Monroe and Jackson Streets. The address is 301 W. Monroe Street.

Our Policies…

For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Mastercard®, Visa®, and Discover®.

When you receive an exam or any other professional services, we collect the fee the same day*. This qualifies you for a Time of Service Savings.

Because eyewear is customized for you we ask for a deposit of at least half of your materials fee so that we may place your order. The balance is due when you pick up your glasses or contacts. If you choose to pay for optical goods in full the same day you order, you qualify for a substantial Time of Service Savings on those materials!

*Some patients have an insurance or vision plan that covers medical services or eyewear. Complete EyeCare Center is a participating provider for Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa, Medicare, Medicaid and Vision Service Plan and we will file your claim for you. We’ll assist with other claims by providing you with a detailed statement so you can be reimbursed by your carrier.
